The Dawson County Emergency Services Department is committed to the perseveration of life and the protection of property for all citizens and visitors of Dawson County. The Emergency Services Department consists of the following divisions:

The Emergency Services Administration Office is responsible for managing the operation of all divisions within the Emergency Services Department.
Our department goals are to provide:
- The highest quality of service in a caring and professional manner.
- The preservation of lives and protection of property by providing a safe, rapid response and a highly trained staff capable of handling all types of emergencies.
- The prevention of emergency and non-emergency incidents through public education, fire and safety activities, and code enforcement.
