401(a) Defined Contribution Plan / 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan

Dawson County will match up to 5% of your contribution to your 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan.  Full time employees are eligible for the 5% county match upon the completion of ninety (90) days of continuous employment with Dawson County.

If you have completed three (3) or more years of service when you terminate employment, you will be 'vested' and will receive 100% of the County's contributions to the Plan.  If you terminate with at least one (1) year of service, but less than three (3) years of service, you will receive a percentage of the County's contribution to the Plan based on your years of service at termination.
