Department: Dawson County Facilities
Location: Dawsonville, GA 30534
Salary:  $12.00 hourly
Status: Part Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible custodian to maintain and protect our facilities. This position is responsible for performing custodial and maintenance duties including, but not limited to, dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms, and emptying trash. Employee will need to utilize industrial cleaning equipment to clean and buff floors weekly. Employee receives supervision from the Facilities Director.  Position is 28 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, 7:30AM – 1:00PM.

Job Requirements:
Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in written communication, and understand verbal instructions. Previous custodial experience preferred but not required.  Applicant must be physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach and operate buffing equipment. Selected applicant must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
