Job Title: Custodian (Full-Time)
Department: Dawson County Facilities
Location:  Dawsonville, GA  30534
Salary:  $13.00 Hourly
Status: Full-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
This position is responsible performing custodial and maintenance duties including, but not limited to, dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms, emptying trash and unclogging commodes and bathroom fixtures. Employee receives supervision from the Facilities Director.

Job Requirements:
Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in written communication, and understand verbal instructions. Previous custodial experience preferred but not required.  Applicant must be physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach and operate buffing equipment. Applicant must have possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Georgia and have no adverse driving record or felony conviction. Selected applicant must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
