Planning & Development - Building Inspector	Department: Dawson County Planning & Development Location: Dawsonville, GA 30534 Salary: $19.83-$24.71 Hourly/ DOQ Status: Full-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt Job Summary: Under the direction of the Building Official, this position is responsible for inspecting new residential and/or commercial construction throughout Dawson County and ensuring compliance with building codes and other ordinances of the county to include but not limited to: building codes, plumbing code, gas code, electrical code, mechanical code and energy code. Public Works - Roads Operator I	Department: Dawson County Public Works Location: Dawsonville, GA 30534 Salary: $16.09 Hourly/DOQ Status: Full-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt Job Summary: This position assists with the construction and maintenance of county roads and drainage systems. Operating equipment that consists of belly and side-arm mowers; utilizing small equipment and hand tools for removing trees and debris; preventative equipment maintenance and posting road signs and others duties as needed. Senior Services- Full-Time Transit Driver	Department: Dawson County Senior Services Location: Dawsonville, GA 30534 Salary: $13.42 - $14.09 Hourly/DOQ Status: Full-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt Job Summary: This position is responsible for operating a 10-passenger transit bus/van with wheelchair lift to transport Dawson County citizens of all ages and abilities to and from various locations throughout the county.
